3. Reactionary: We have patients that ask if it’s not broken, please don’t fix it! Sometimes they say, “In fact please don’t even mention it. I’d rather wait until it hurts or breaks and deal with it then.” This is not our ideal approach, but we respect that proactive treatment may not fit for everyone. We will honor this request because we believe that everyone deserves the right to say “no” with dignity.
